Industrial product pages your buyers can find by spec
We rewrite distributors' pages from spec sheets, every value linked. Your 300-SKU pilot arrives within 5 business days of schema approval, and we refund what you paid if you ask.
Catalog rewrite: USD 1.60 per SKU, minimum batch 2,000 SKUs (USD 3,200)
Distributor Spec-Checked Sample Rewrite
No payment and no commitment: the sample rewrite is not a trial and never turns into a paid order.
Email us10 of your own product pages, checked against the manufacturers' public spec sheets and rewritten. You see which specs are missing from your pages or differ from the spec sheet, with a link to check each one, plus a new title and description for every page.
What we need from you Nothing. We build it from your public product and category pages and the manufacturers' public spec sheets. It uses no access to your systems.
Missing specs hide your products
Industrial buyers search and filter by specification: thread, pressure, material, voltage. A page with a missing or wrong spec is not found by site search, filters or Google, and it brings questions or wrong orders. Suppliers send bare-bones data, so someone has to research each spec sheet SKU by SKU, or review a cheap tool's output.
What we deliver
We rewrite your catalog in batches of at least 2,000 SKUs, from your product export and the manufacturers' public spec sheets. Every value links to its source, so you can spot-check instead of re-verifying. Each first batch starts with a 300-SKU pilot you grade and approve before the rest runs. With 30 days of fixes after delivery, we re-check each value you report as wrong and re-issue the corrected rows (terms: https://catalogscribe.com/guarantee).
- One import-ready CSV in your store's or PIM's format: Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce or custom
- Attributes from the manufacturer's spec sheet or datasheet (technical attributes, certifications and dimensions where stated), each with its source link
- Units normalized and missing fields filled
- A specification table, a new title and a new 200-400 word buyer-facing description for each SKU
- A link to the public spec sheet and manual PDF where they exist
- Classification into your own taxonomy or a standard one you name: ETIM, ECLASS or UNSPSC
- Up to 7 related-part links where the spec sheet names compatible or accessory parts that are in your export
- A duplicate list of SKUs, and a flag list of SKUs whose specs could not be verified (left blank, never guessed)
See 10 of your own pages first
Our free sample rewrite takes 10 of your product pages showing a manufacturer part number. Each gets attributes normalized with units, a new title and a new 200-400 word description. Specs missing or different from the manufacturer's spec sheet are highlighted, with a link to that sheet. Anything not in a public source is left blank and flagged. Where your category pages show item counts, it adds a quote for your approximate SKU count, which you confirm by reply.
Email hello@catalogscribe.com with your web store's address. We build it from your public pages and the manufacturers' public spec sheets, with no access to your systems.
- It covers 10 pages, not your catalog, and it is not an import file.
- Specs not found in a public source are left blank and flagged, not filled.
- A value from a manufacturer's spec sheet is only as accurate as that sheet.
- The quote uses an approximate SKU count from your category pages; you confirm it by reply before any order.
- It shows no change in site search, traffic or orders; you can compare those in your own analytics after an import.
- One per company, identified by its website domain.
How it works
We rewrite 10 of your pages
From your public web store and the manufacturers' public spec sheets. It needs nothing from you.
You check every change
Open each link and compare any highlighted attribute with the manufacturer's spec sheet. Values we could not verify are blank, not guessed.
You reply with your SKU count
We email you a quote at USD 1.60 per SKU and answer your questions by email. Reply 'send the order' and we email you the one-page order.
You send your export
With your order: your product export, your store's or PIM's import template and your taxonomy file, if you have one. You approve the category schema once.
You grade a 300-SKU pilot
If you reject it, the order ends and nothing is owed (https://catalogscribe.com/guarantee). If you approve it, the rest of the batch runs.
You import the file
One import-ready CSV, with the duplicate and flag lists. We never log into your store, ERP or PIM.
Price
- Catalog rewrite: USD 1.60 per SKU, minimum batch 2,000 SKUs (USD 3,200)
- Optional quarterly upkeep pass: USD 1.60 per new or changed SKU in the list you send
- Each first batch starts with a 300-SKU pilot that is part of the batch. If you reject the pilot, the order ends and nothing is owed.
- Nothing is invoiced before you approve the pilot. If you approve it, 50% of the batch is invoiced then and 50% on delivery.
- A later batch has no pilot: 50% is invoiced when you accept its order and 50% on delivery.
- You may cancel a batch by replying CANCEL. Before pilot approval nothing is owed; after it, work stops, you get the rows finished so far, the first 50% stays owed and the 50% due on delivery is not invoiced.
- The upkeep pass is optional. Each pass is a separate order you place by sending a list of new or changed SKUs, invoiced when its file is delivered, and nothing renews on its own.
- You may cancel an upkeep pass before its file is delivered by replying CANCEL, and nothing is owed for it.
- The pilot, fix, refund and cancellation terms are at https://catalogscribe.com/guarantee.
Not included

- No product photography, images or videos

- No marketplace syndication
- No guarantee of traffic or sales
- No copying of manufacturer description text: descriptions are written new, and only factual specs are carried over
FAQ
You are new and have no references in our vertical. Why should we trust the work?
You do not have to take it on trust. The sample rewrite is built on your own pages, and every highlighted value links to the manufacturer's spec sheet so you can check it. Your first batch starts with a 300-SKU pilot from your own export: if you reject it, nothing is owed (https://catalogscribe.com/guarantee).
Do you need access to our store, ERP or PIM?
No. The sample rewrite uses only public pages and spec sheets. For paid work you send us a product export once, and we deliver a file you import yourself. We never log into or edit your systems.
Can you connect to our PIM or sync both ways?
No. We deliver one import-ready CSV in your store's or PIM's format (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce or custom). There are no live connectors and no sync in either direction. For new or changed SKUs later, you can order an upkeep pass.
Where do the specs come from, and what if a value is wrong?
From the manufacturer's spec sheet or datasheet, with a link on every value. A value we could not verify is left blank and flagged, never guessed. For 30 days after delivery, we re-check each value you report as wrong against its source and re-issue the corrected rows.
Do you copy the manufacturer's descriptions?
No. Descriptions are written new. Only factual specs are carried over from the spec sheets.
Will this raise our traffic or sales?
We do not promise that: there is no guarantee of traffic or sales. Complete pages make products findable by spec. After the import, you can compare site search and product-page traffic before and after in your own analytics.
What happens after the sample rewrite?
Nothing, unless you reply. Reply with your SKU count for a quote, or reply 'send the order' and we email you the one-page order. An order is made only when you reply to it with the words the order form asks for. Questions are answered by email.
